- We’ll start by discussing what you’re looking to get out of lessons
- You can bring your own clubs or borrow some for the lesson
- We’ll take a look at your current swing, even if you’ve never swung a club before, and discuss what could be worked on
- We’ll go through practice routines you can do at home between lessons
- We’ll create a plan for the next few lessons
About Darren
A fully qualified PGA Professional since 2001, I bring over two decades of experience in both playing and coaching golf at a high level. I’ve competed in tournament golf, with a career highlight being my victory in the 2006 Regional Qualifying for The Open. My coaching journey has taken me to prestigious venues such as The Mere Golf Resort in Cheshire and The Tytherington Club in Macclesfield. More recently, I launched my own state-of-the-art indoor golf facility, offering Trackman-enabled practice and lessons to a thriving base of players. I’m also a certified Mind Factor coach, trained under renowned performance coach Karl Morris. Now based in Hertfordshire, I offer in-person coaching as well as online programmes via the V1 Golf app. When I’m not on the course or in the studio, I’m a passionate fan of both football and golf.
